Description

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with these indulgent Matcha Strawberries! Fresh strawberries are dipped in creamy green tea chocolate and sprinkled with crushed pistachios for a festive, nutty twist. Perfect as a fun snack or elegant dessert!

Ingredients

Scale
  • Produce:
    • 12 fresh strawberries (washed and dried thoroughly)
  • Baking & Spices:
    • 1 cup white chocolate chips or melts
    • 12 tsp matcha powder (adjust to taste)
  • Nuts:
    • 1/4 cup crushed pistachios (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries:
    • Wash and pat the strawberries completely dry with a paper towel to ensure the chocolate sticks.
  2. Melt the chocolate:
    • Place the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 15–20 second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth and fully melted.
  3. Add the matcha:
    • Sift 1–2 tsp of matcha powder into the melted chocolate. Stir until evenly combined and the chocolate turns a vibrant green.
  4. Dip the strawberries:
    • Hold a strawberry by its stem and dip it into the matcha chocolate, twisting slightly to coat evenly. Let any excess chocolate drip off.
  5. Add toppings:
    • While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the dipped strawberries with crushed pistachios for a nutty finish.
  6. Set the strawberries:
    • Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined tray. Let them sit at room temperature or in the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens.
  7. Serve:
    • Arrange on a festive platter and enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • Use high-quality matcha powder for the best flavor and color.
  • Store the strawberries in the fridge, but consume within 1–2 days for maximum freshness.
  • Pistachios can be swapped for shredded coconut or festive sprinkles for variety.
