Instructions
- Activate Yeast:
In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy. - Make the Dough:
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter, mixing until a dough forms. - Knead the Dough:
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. - Let It Rise:
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp towel, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size. - Prepare the Oven:
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper. - Shape the Dough:
Roll the dough out directly onto the prepared baking sheet to your desired thickness, approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch. - Add Toppings:
