  • 1 lb top sirloin steak (thinly sliced)

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp ginger (grated or minced)

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth

Condiments:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

Pasta & Grains:

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles

Baking & Spices:

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Oils & Vinegars:

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  • Prepare the Sauce:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, chicken broth, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  • Cook the Noodles:
    • Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook the Beef:
    • Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
    • Add sliced sirloin steak and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté the Vegetables:
    • In the same skillet, add garlic, ginger, onion, broccoli, carrots, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Combine Ingredients:
    • Return the cooked beef to the skillet, along with the noodles.
    • Pour the sauce over the mixture and toss everything together until well coated and heated through, about 2–3 minutes.
  • Serve:
    • Serve immediately, garnished with additional sesame oil or green onions if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of oyster sauce or hoisin sauce to the sauce mixture.
