Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 oz instant banana pudding mix (dry powder)
  • 1 cup 2% or whole milk
  • 11 oz Nilla Wafers
  • 8 medium bananas, sliced
  • Crushed Nilla Wafers (for topping)

Instructions

  • Make the Whipped Cream: In a large bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream, confectioners’ sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  • Prepare the Pudding Base: In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sweetened condensed milk, banana pudding mix, and milk, and mix until creamy.
  • Fold in Whipped Cream: Gently fold half of the whipped cream into the pudding mixture.
  • Assemble the Layers:
    • In a serving dish, spread a layer of Nilla Wafers.
    • Add a layer of sliced bananas.
    • Spread a layer of pudding mixture.
    • Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
  • Top and Chill: Spread the remaining whipped cream over the top and sprinkle with crushed Nilla Wafers.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4-8 hours (or overnight) to allow flavors to meld. Serve chilled!

Notes

  • Use barely ripe bananas to avoid mushiness.
  • For extra banana flavor, add banana extract to the pudding mixture.
  • Best served within 24 hours for optimal texture.
