Instructions
- Activate the yeast: In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Make the dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and sea salt. Add the yeast mixture and knead until a soft dough forms.
- Shape the pretzel bites: Roll the dough into ropes, then cut into small bite-sized pieces.
- Boil (optional but recommended): Bring a pot of water to a boil and drop the pretzel bites in for 30 seconds. Remove and pat dry.
- Air fry: Brush the bites with melted butter, sprinkle with pretzel salt, and air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 7-10 minutes, until golden brown.
