Instructions
Step 1: Preheat & Prepare
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
Step 2: Separate the Eggs
- Carefully separate the egg whites from the yolks.
- Place the whites in one large mixing bowl and the yolks in another.
Step 3: Whip the Egg Whites
- Using a hand mixer, beat the egg whites on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form.
- Add cream of tartar to help stabilize the whites.
Step 4: Mix the Yolks & Cream Cheese
- In the separate bowl, beat the egg yolks, cream cheese, and baking powder until smooth.
- Add any additional seasonings or sweeteners, depending on your preferred flavor.
Step 5: Fold in the Egg Whites
- Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the yolk mixture using a spatula.
- Be careful not to overmix—keep as much air in the batter as possible for a fluffy texture.
Step 6: Shape & Bake
- Scoop the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming 6-8 rounds.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
Step 7: Cool & Serve
