Units Scale

Meat:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)

Produce:

  • 1 package Boursin cheese with garlic and fine herbs
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (for garnish)

Canned Goods:

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Baking & Spices:

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Dairy:

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Pat chicken breasts dry and season with salt, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
  2. Cook the Chicken:
    • Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Sear chicken breasts for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F). Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, add chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
    • Stir in the Boursin cheese until melted and smooth.
    • Gradually mix in the heavy cream and cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Combine & Serve:
    • Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over the top, and simmer for 2–3 minutes to warm through.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, let it simmer for an extra minute or two before adding the chicken.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
