For the Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
For the Caramel Layer:
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp salt
For the Topping:
- 1 cup crushed Butterfinger candy bars
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil or butter (for melting)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven & Prepare Pan:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Make the Graham Cracker Crust:
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined.
- Press the mixture evenly into the baking dish.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, then let cool.
- Prepare the Caramel Layer:
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt.
- Stir constantly and bring to a simmer.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until thickened and golden.
- Pour caramel over the cooled crust and spread evenly.
- Add the Butterfinger Crunch:
- Sprinkle crushed Butterfinger pieces over the warm caramel layer.
- Melt the Chocolate & Drizzle:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Drizzle over the top of the bars.
- Chill & Serve:
- Refrigerate for 1-2 hours, or until set.
- Slice into squares and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra crunch, add chopped peanuts or pretzel pieces.
