Dry Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk

- 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen, do not thaw if frozen)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Prepare the dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream butter & cream cheese: In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs & vanilla: Mix in the eggs, one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
- Incorporate dry ingredients: Gradually add the flour mixture, alternating with milk, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in blueberries: Gently fold in blueberries with a spatula, being careful not to overmix.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool & Serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
- Toss blueberries in 1 tablespoon of flour before folding them in to prevent sinking.
- For extra flavor, add ½ teaspoon lemon zest.
- Serve warm with butter or a drizzle of honey!
