Ingredients

Units Scale

Meat:

  • 1/2 lb deli ham

Produce:

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Condiments:

  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Baking & Spices:

  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp poppy seeds

Bread & Baked Goods:

  • 1 package King’s Hawaiian original sweet rolls

Dairy:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 lb deli-sliced Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 lb deli-sliced sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Rolls: Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally (keeping them connected) and place the bottom half in the baking dish.
  3. Assemble the Sliders: Spread mayonnaise evenly on the bottom half of the rolls. Layer the ham, Swiss cheese, and sharp cheddar cheese. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  4. Make the Butter Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, poppy seeds, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Brush & Bake: Generously brush the butter sauce over the tops of the sliders. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5–8 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve: Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a layer of crispy bacon or caramelized onions.
  • Make ahead: Assemble the sliders, cover, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven for best results.
