Description

These Warm and Cheesy Ham Croissants are the ultimate comfort food! Buttery croissants are filled with thinly sliced ham, melted cheese, and a touch of mustard and mayo for a quick and delicious brunch or light dinner. Perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

Meat:

  • Thinly sliced deli ham

Produce:

  • Fresh chives (for garnish)

Condiments:

  • Mayonnaise (to taste)
  • Stoneground mustard (to taste)

Bread & Baked Goods:

  • Croissants (1 per serving)

Dairy:

  • Cheese slices (Swiss, cheddar, or gruyère work best)

Instructions

Assemble the Croissants:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut and Fill the Croissants:
    • Slice each croissant in half horizontally. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and stoneground mustard on the inside of each half.
  3. Layer the Fillings:
    • Add a layer of sliced ham and a slice of cheese to the bottom half of the croissant. Place the top half back on.

Bake the Croissants:

  1. Arrange on Baking Sheet:
    • Place the assembled croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake:
    • Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the croissants are golden and warm.

Serve:

  1. Garnish and Enjoy:
    • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh chives for a pop of color and flavor. Serve immediately.
