Ingredients
Meat:
- Thinly sliced deli ham
Produce:
- Fresh chives (for garnish)
Condiments:
- Mayonnaise (to taste)
- Stoneground mustard (to taste)
Bread & Baked Goods:
- Croissants (1 per serving)
Dairy:
- Cheese slices (Swiss, cheddar, or gruyère work best)
Instructions
Assemble the Croissants:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut and Fill the Croissants:
- Slice each croissant in half horizontally. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and stoneground mustard on the inside of each half.
- Layer the Fillings:
- Add a layer of sliced ham and a slice of cheese to the bottom half of the croissant. Place the top half back on.
Bake the Croissants:
- Arrange on Baking Sheet:
- Place the assembled croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake:
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the croissants are golden and warm.
Serve:
- Garnish and Enjoy:
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh chives for a pop of color and flavor. Serve immediately.
