Description

Enjoy the perfect balance of warmth and refreshment with this Apple Cinnamon Tea, a comforting spiced drink that can be served hot or iced! Infused with black tea, fresh apples, cinnamon, ginger, and honey, this aromatic beverage is perfect for cozy autumn evenings or as a chilled summer drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags (or loose leaf tea)
  • 1 large apple, thinly sliced
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1-inch fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup honey (or to taste)
  • Ice cubes (for the iced version)
  • Additional apple slices & cinnamon sticks (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

. Brew the Tea:

  • Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  • Remove from heat, add the tea bags, and let steep for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags.

2. Infuse the Flavors:

  • Add sliced apple, cinnamon sticks, and grated ginger to the hot tea.
  • Let the mixture steep for 10 minutes to enhance the flavors.
  • Stir in honey while the tea is still warm.

3. Serve Hot or Iced:

  • For Hot Tea: Remove the cinnamon sticks (apple slices can remain) and serve immediately.
  • For Iced Tea: Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold.
    • Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice.
    • Garnish with fresh apple slices and a cinnamon stick in each glass.

Notes

  • Make it caffeine-free by using herbal tea (such as rooibos or chamomile) instead of black tea.
  • Sweetness levels can be adjusted by adding more or less honey or using maple syrup.
  • Boost immunity by adding a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving.
  • For an extra indulgence, serve the hot version with a splash of warm milk or cream.
