Ingredients
Scale
Wet Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter
- 8 oz high-quality white chocolate bars, chopped
- 2 eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups granulated white sugar
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Melt the White Chocolate & Butter:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a heatproof bowl, melt white chocolate and butter together over a double boiler (or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between). Set aside to cool slightly.
2. Make the Batter:
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, egg yolks, and sugar until pale and fluffy (about 2 minutes).
- Add the vanilla extract and the melted white chocolate mixture, whisking until smooth.
- Gently fold in flour and salt, mixing until just combined—do not overmix.
3. Bake the Brownies:
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 28–32 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is slightly soft.
- Let the brownies cool completely before slicing for the best texture.
4. Serve & Enjoy:
- Cut into 16 squares and enjoy! Serve plain, dusted with powdered sugar, or topped with whipped cream or berries.
