Description

How do you make a lavender mojito without alcohol?
You make a lavender mojito by muddling mint and lime, then adding homemade lavender syrup and sparkling water—no alcohol needed.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 tbsp dried culinary lavender

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 6-8 fresh mint leaves

  • 1/2 cup soda water or sparkling water

  • Ice cubes

  • Lavender sprigs and lime slices, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make Lavender Syrup: Combine water, sugar, and lavender in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer and stir until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and steep for 10 minutes. Strain and let cool.

  2. In a glass, muddle mint leaves with lime juice.

  3. Fill glass with ice. Add 2–3 tbsp of the lavender syrup.

  4. Top with soda water and stir gently to combine.

  5. Garnish with a lavender sprig and a slice of lime. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use culinary-grade lavender for safe and flavorful infusion.

  • Double or triple the syrup recipe and store in the fridge for up to a week.

  • For a stronger floral note, increase steep time to 15 minutes.

  • Optional: Serve in a pitcher for 6 by multiplying ingredients accordingly.
