- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup olive oil

For the Topping:
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup warm water (for brushing)
- 1 teaspoon honey or molasses (optional, for extra golden color)

Prepare the Dough:
- In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
- Gradually add warm water and olive oil, kneading until a soft, elastic dough forms.
- Cover and let it rise for 1-2 hours, until doubled in size.

Shape the Bread:
- Divide the dough into 4-6 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into a long rope, then shape into an oval ring by connecting the ends.
- Let them rest for 15 minutes while preparing the sesame topping.

Coat with Sesame Seeds:
- Mix warm water with honey or molasses (if using) for better browning.
- Brush each dough ring with the mixture, then press into sesame seeds until fully coated.

- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the sesame-coated rings on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and crisp.
