Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 2: Prepare the Sauce

  1. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, honey, lime juice, lime zest, and minced garlic.

Step 3: Season the Salmon

  1. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  2. Season both sides of the salmon with salt and pepper.

Step 4: Add the Sauce

  1. Drizzle the honey-lime garlic butter mixture evenly over the salmon fillets. Use a brush or spoon to coat them thoroughly.

Step 5: Bake the Salmon

  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15–18 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  2. For a caramelized top, broil the salmon on high for an additional 2–3 minutes.

Step 6: Garnish and Serve

  1. Remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley.
  2. Serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.

Notes

  • For a slightly spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the butter mixture.
  • Pair this salmon with roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
