Description
Perfectly seared steak with grilled shrimp, served alongside roasted asparagus and a loaded baked potato for a classic steakhouse experience.

For the Steak:
- 1 (12 oz) ribeye or New York strip steak
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp butter (for basting)
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary (optional)
For the Shrimp:
- 8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp butter (for basting)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
For the Roasted Asparagus:
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
For the Loaded Baked Potato:
- 1 large russet potato
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp bacon bits
- 1 tbsp chopped green onions
- 1/2 tbsp butter
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Baked Potato:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prick potato with a fork, rub with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt.
- Bake for 1 hour until soft. Slice open and top with butter, sour cream, cheese, bacon bits, and green onions.
Cook the Steak:
- Pat the steak dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat and add olive oil.
- Sear steak for 3-4 minutes per side. Add butter and rosemary, basting the steak for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Grill the Shrimp:
- Toss shrimp with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Skewer and grill or pan-sear for 2 minutes per side.
- Baste with butter and finish with a squeeze of lemon.
Roast the Asparagus:
- Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Roast at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes until tender.
Serve:
- Plate sliced steak with shrimp skewer, roasted asparagus, and a loaded baked potato. Enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, add garlic butter to the roasted asparagus after cooking.
- Serve with a glass of red wine like Cabernet Sauvignon for a full steakhouse experience.
- You can also add sautéed mushrooms to the plate for additional flavor.
