Ingredients

For the Custard:

  • 2 cups low-fat or whole milk

  • 2 tbsp custard powder (vanilla flavor)

  • 2 tbsp stevia or erythritol (adjust to taste)

  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder (optional)

For the Fruits (Use Fresh):

  • 1 kiwi, peeled and sliced

  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds

  • 1/2 cup seedless black grapes, halved

  • 1/2 cup green grapes, halved

  • Optional: chopped apple, banana, or mango

Instructions

  • Make Slurry: In a small bowl, mix custard powder with ¼ cup cold milk until smooth.

  • Heat Milk: In a saucepan, bring remaining milk to a gentle boil. Stir to prevent scorching.

  • Sweeten & Flavor: Add stevia and cardamom (if using). Slowly whisk in custard slurry, stirring constantly.

  • Thicken Custard: Simmer on low heat for 4–5 minutes until thick. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.

  • Chill: Refrigerate custard for at least 30 minutes to set and cool.

  • Serve with Fruits: Fold in chopped fruits just before serving. Spoon into bowls and garnish with kiwi slices and pomegranate seeds.

Notes

Use ripe, seasonal fruits for best flavor. Avoid adding fruits too early to keep them fresh and crisp. Adjust sweetness as needed based on your sweetener brand.
