Instructions
- Preheat the waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Cook waffles in the waffle maker until golden and crisp. Set aside to cool slightly.
- In a bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- To assemble, layer waffles with whipped cream and fresh strawberries. Drizzle with strawberry preserves for extra sweetness.
