Description

Indulge in the luxurious flavors of a Strawberry Chocolate Martini, a creamy dessert cocktail featuring vanilla vodka, chocolate liqueur, and strawberry puree. Perfectly garnished with a chocolate-dipped strawberry, this drink is an exquisite addition to romantic evenings or celebratory moments.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • For the Cocktail:
    • 1 1/2 oz vodka (vanilla-flavored vodka preferred)
    • 1 oz chocolate liqueur (e.g., Godiva Chocolate Liqueur)
    • 1 oz strawberry puree (fresh or store-bought)
    • 1/2 oz cream (or half-and-half for a lighter option)
    • Ice cubes
  • For Garnish:
    • Chocolate syrup (for drizzling inside the glass)
    • Fresh strawberry (dipped in chocolate)
    • Grated chocolate or cocoa powder (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Glass:

  • Drizzle chocolate syrup inside a martini glass, creating elegant swirls or zigzag patterns.
  • Place the glass in the freezer for 5 minutes to set the design.

2. Mix the Cocktail:

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  • Add vodka, chocolate liqueur, strawberry puree, and cream.

3. Shake:

  • Shake the mixture vigorously for 20–30 seconds to ensure the drink is well-chilled and creamy.

4. Strain:

  • Strain the cocktail into the prepared martini glass. The drink will appear velvety with a soft pink hue.

5. Garnish:

  • Skewer a chocolate-dipped strawberry on a cocktail pick and balance it across the rim of the glass.
  • Optionally, sprinkle grated chocolate or a light dusting of cocoa powder over the surface for added sophistication.

Notes

  • Strawberry Puree Substitute: If fresh strawberries are unavailable, use store-bought puree or blend frozen strawberries with a bit of sugar.
  • Make it Sweeter: Add a teaspoon of simple syrup for extra sweetness if desired.
  • Non-Alcoholic Version: Replace vodka with strawberry syrup and chocolate liqueur with chocolate milk for a kid-friendly treat.
