Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon milk (optional, for fluffiness)

 

  • 1 tablespoon oil or butter

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk the eggs with milk, salt, turmeric, cumin, garam masala, and red chili powder.
  • Add chopped onions, green chilies, and cilantro, mixing well.
  • Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges set.
  • Flip the omelette and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

 

  • Serve hot with toast, roti, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more green chilies or a pinch of black pepper.
  • Serve with buttered toast, paratha, or even inside a sandwich.
