For the Dipping Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

Prepare the Shrimp Mixture:
  1. In a bowl, combine chopped shrimp, corn, breadcrumbs, flour, eggs, green onions, garlic, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, lemon juice, parsley, mayonnaise, and hot sauce.
  2. Mix until well combined.
Shape the Patties:
  1. Form the mixture into small cakes (about 2 inches in diameter).
Cook the Shrimp Cakes:
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Fry shrimp cakes for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Make the Dipping Sauce:
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, hot sauce, Cajun seasoning, and lemon juice.
