Description

These Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents are the perfect flaky, buttery, and creamy snack! Made with ground breakfast sausage, cream cheese, cheddar, and crescent roll dough, they’re easy to make and absolutely delicious. Serve them as a quick breakfast, party appetizer, or on-the-go snack!

Ingredients

Scale

Meat:

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage, ground

Dairy:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Baking & Spices:

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Other:

  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

1. Cook the Sausage Mixture:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until melted and well combined. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

2. Assemble the Crescents:

  1. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
  2. Spoon a small amount of sausage mixture onto the wider end of each triangle.
  3. Roll each crescent up, starting from the wide end, and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

3. Bake & Serve:

  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
  2. Let cool slightly, then serve warm!

Notes

Make It Spicy: Add red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños to the filling.
Cheesy Upgrade: Use pepper jack or mozzarella cheese instead of cheddar.
Storage: Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat in the oven.
Freezer-Friendly: Assemble and freeze before baking for an easy make-ahead snack!
