- 2 cups full-fat milk powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron strands (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped pistachios or almonds
- Edible silver foil (varak) and sprinkles for garnish
Instructions

Prepare the Mixture:
- In a pan, heat ghee on low flame.
- Add milk powder, sugar, and heavy cream, stirring continuously.

Cook Until Thick:
- Stir the mixture constantly for 10-12 minutes until it thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.

Flavor & Set:
- Add cardamom powder, saffron strands, and chopped nuts. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased dish and spread evenly.

Shape & Decorate:
- Smooth out the surface and garnish with edible silver foil, sprinkles, and extra nuts.

- Let the barfi set for 1-2 hours at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
