- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream the Butter & Sugars:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
- Combine Dry Ingredients:
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix the Dough:
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and Rice Krispies cereal, being careful not to overmix.
- Scoop & Bake:
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown but centers are still soft.
- Cool & Enjoy:
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
