  • 1 cup fresh hibiscus flower petals (or 1/2 cup dried hibiscus)
  • 1 cup fresh elderflower (or 1/4 cup dried elderflower)
  • 1 lemon, juiced

Liquids & Sweetener:

  • 4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup honey (adjust to taste)
  • Sparkling water, to top off

Other:

Instructions

1. Brew the Tea:

  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add hibiscus petals and elderflower, then reduce heat and let simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and honey. Let steep for another 5 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea to remove flower petals and let cool to room temperature.

2. Assemble the Drink:

  1. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour in the cooled hibiscus elderflower tea.
  2. Top off with sparkling water for a fizzy finish.

3. Garnish & Serve:

  1. Add lemon slices or fresh mint for a refreshing touch.
