These Easy Puff Pastry Sticks are a flaky, cheesy, and flavorful snack perfect for parties, appetizers, or on-the-go treats! Made with crispy puff pastry, bacon or ham, basil pesto, and cheese, they’re quick to prepare and absolutely delicious.

- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 2 tbsp basil pesto
- 1/2 cup cheese, grated (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)
- 1 oz smoked bacon or ham bits
- 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
- Fresh ground pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat & Prepare:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
2. Assemble the Puff Pastry Sticks:
- Spread a thin layer of basil pesto over the pastry.
- Evenly sprinkle grated cheese, bacon/ham bits, Parmesan, and fresh ground pepper.
- Fold the puff pastry in half, pressing gently to seal the ingredients inside.
- Cut into ½-inch wide strips, then twist each strip to create a spiral shape.
3. Bake & Serve:
- Arrange twisted strips on the baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool slightly, then serve warm as a snack or appetizer!

- Extra Crispy? Brush with a light egg wash before baking.
