Description

These Piña Colada Milkshakes are a creamy, tropical blend of pineapple, coconut milk, and vanilla ice cream. A non-alcoholic take on the classic cocktail, this piña colada milkshake recipe is perfect for hot days and summer parties.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream

  • 1/2 cup canned pineapple chunks (or fresh)

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk (or cream of coconut for extra richness)

  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

  • Whipped cream, for topping

  • Shredded coconut, for garnish

  • Maraschino cherries and pineapple slices, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine vanilla ice cream, pineapple chunks, coconut milk, pineapple juice, and vanilla extract (if using).

  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. Rim glasses with shredded coconut (optional): dip glass rim in honey or syrup, then into coconut flakes.

  4. Pour milkshake into glasses.

  5. Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of shredded coconut, a maraschino cherry, and a pineapple wedge.

  6. Serve immediately with a fun straw!

Notes

  • For a grown-up version, add a splash of rum.

  • Use frozen pineapple for a frostier shake without adding ice.

  • Cream of coconut will make the shake sweeter and more dessert-like.
