Description

Juicy shrimp, smoky sausage, sweet corn, and tender potatoes, grilled to perfection—drizzled with a bold Cajun butter sauce for an explosion of flavor!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Skewers:

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 2 ears of corn, cut into small rounds
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, boiled until fork-tender
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

For the Cajun Butter Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey (for balance)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Skewers – In a bowl, toss shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.
2️⃣ Assemble – Thread the shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes onto the skewers.
3️⃣ Grill – Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill skewers for about 5 minutes per side, or until shrimp are pink and fully cooked.
4️⃣ Make the Sauce – In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, lemon juice, and honey.
5️⃣ Drizzle & Serve – Generously drizzle the Cajun butter sauce over the skewers and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately!

Notes

  • Use andouille sausage for an extra smoky, spicy kick!
  • Swap shrimp for scallops or chicken for a land-based twist.
  • If using metal skewers, no soaking is needed.

  • Pairs perfectly with grilled bread, rice, or coleslaw.
