Ingredients

Units Scale

Produce

3 cloves garlic, minced

Canned Goods

2 cups chicken stock

Pasta & Grains

8 oz angel hair pasta

Baking & Spices

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper

1/4 tsp salt

Optional: 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Oils & Vinegars

1 (8 oz) jar sun-dried tomatoes in oil, drained and chopped

Dairy

3 tbsp butter

1/2 cup half-and-half or whole milk

2 tbsp softened cream cheese (optional)

1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

Sauté the Garlic and Sun-dried Tomatoes: Heat the oil from the sun-dried tomatoes in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped sun-dried tomatoes, sautéing for 2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the Liquid: Pour in the chicken stock, half-and-half, and butter. Stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

Cook the Pasta: Add the angel hair pasta directly into the skillet. Stir occasionally to ensure it cooks evenly and absorbs the liquid. Cook for about 5–7 minutes or until the pasta is tender.

Finish the Sauce: Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. For a creamier sauce, add the softened cream cheese and mix until smooth.

Serve: Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Substitute chicken stock with vegetable broth for a vegetarian version.

For extra protein, add grilled chicken or shrimp.

Sun-dried tomato oil adds richness.
