Whip up a microwave mug cake recipe in just one minute or make a batch of 5 minute chocolate fudge with only a few ingredients. Ingredients

Chocolate Mug Cake (1 serving):

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (or melted butter)

  • 1 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)

  • 1 microwave-safe mug

5-Minute Chocolate Fudge:

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  • 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk (half a can)

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional: chopped nuts or crushed pretzels


Instructions

Chocolate Mug Cake:

  1. In a mug, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

  2. Add milk and oil; mix until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips if using.

  3. Microwave on High for 60–70 seconds, until puffed and just set.

  4. Let cool for 1 minute before enjoying. Top with ice cream or chocolate syrup if desired.

5-Minute Chocolate Fudge:

  1. Line a small dish with parchment paper or foil.

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter.

  3. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring each time, until smooth (1.5–2 minutes).

  4. Stir in vanilla, salt, and mix-ins if using.

  5. Pour into lined dish and smooth top.

  6. Let set at room temp for 1 hour or refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until firm.

  7. Cut into squares and enjoy.

Notes
