Instructions
- Heat the Ingredients:
- In a small saucepan, combine the heavy cream, maple syrup, brown sugar, butter, and salt over medium heat.
- Stir constantly until the mixture starts to bubble and slightly thicken (about 5-7 minutes).
- Cool & Thicken:
- Remove from heat and stir in the maple extract (if using).
- Let the dip cool to room temperature, then transfer to a jar or airtight container.
- Chill & Store:
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow it to thicken.
- Store in the fridge for up to 3 months.
