Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 green tea bags
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1 tbsp honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Ice cubes (for iced tea, optional)

Instructions

  • Boil Water: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, then remove from heat.
  • Steep the Tea: Add green tea bags and sliced ginger to the hot water. Cover and steep for 5–7 minutes.
  • Add Honey & Lemon: Remove tea bags and stir in honey and lemon slices. Let cool slightly.
  • Serve Hot or Iced:
    • For hot tea, pour into mugs and enjoy immediately.
    • For iced tea, let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate. Serve over ice with extra lemon slices.
