Description

Lemon Ginger Iced Green Tea with Honey is a healthy and refreshing beverage featuring antioxidant-rich green tea, soothing honey, zesty lemon, and spicy ginger. Ideal for hydration and boosting your day!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 green tea bags
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1/4 cup honey (or to taste)
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Boil Water

  1. In a medium pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat.

Step 2: Steep Tea and Ginger

  1. Add the green tea bags and fresh ginger slices to the hot water. Cover and let steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired tea strength.

Step 3: Sweeten with Honey

  1. Remove the tea bags and ginger slices. While the tea is still warm, stir in 1/4 cup honey until fully dissolved.

Step 4: Add Lemon Juice

  1. Mix in 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice for a tangy kick.

Step 5: Chill the Tea

  1. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature. Transfer to the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy

  1. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over them. Garnish with lemon slices for an extra touch of elegance, if desired.

Notes

  • Sweetness: Adjust the honey to your taste preference.
  • Stronger Flavor: For a bolder ginger or lemon taste, let the ginger steep longer or add more lemon juice.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days for maximum freshness.
