Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish lightly with cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. Prepare Tilapia:
    • Pat the tilapia fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  3. Make the Sauce:
    • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, and thyme.
  4. Assemble:
    • Place the tilapia fillets in the prepared baking dish. Pour the lemon garlic butter sauce evenly over the fillets. Lay lemon slices on top of each fillet and sprinkle with red pepper flakes, if using.

    • Bake for 15–20 minutes or until the tilapia is flaky and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F or 63°C).
