Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp capers, drained
  • 1 clove garlic, grated or minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, minced
  • Kosher salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt Butter – In a small skillet over low heat, melt the butter.
  2. Sauté Garlic & Capers – Add capers and garlic, then bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add Lemon & Parsley – Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and parsley.
  4. Season & Serve – Taste and add salt as needed. Drizzle over fish, shrimp, chicken, or pasta!

  • For extra richness, brown the butter slightly before adding the garlic and capers.
  • Want a thicker sauce? Stir in 1 tsp flour before adding the capers.
