Description

A low-carb twist on classic tacos, these keto-friendly chicken tacos are wrapped in crisp lettuce leaves and topped with shredded cheese, fresh tomatoes, and a drizzle of sour cream. A delicious and healthy way to enjoy taco night without the carbs!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie or boiled)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 large lettuce leaves (romaine or butter lettuce)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

 

  • 1/4 cup sour cream (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to coat.
  2. Assemble the Tacos: Lay out the lettuce leaves and evenly distribute the chicken mixture onto each one.
  3. Add Toppings: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, and chopped cilantro over the chicken.
  4. Drizzle & Serve: Top with a drizzle of sour cream and serve immediately.
