For the Bread Pudding:
- 4 cups Irish soda bread, cubed
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup raisins or chopped dates (optional)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted

- Whipped cream
- Caramel or maple syrup
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preheat & Prep:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.

Soak the Bread:
- In a large bowl, whisk together milk, cream, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Add the cubed Irish soda bread and let soak for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

- Stir in the raisins or chopped dates if using.

- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top.
