Description

Homemade Taco Dip is a cheesy, zesty crowd-pleaser layered with seasoned beef, melted cheddar, cream cheese, sour cream, and salsa. This easy party dip is perfect for game day, served hot and bubbly with tortilla chips for the ultimate taco-inspired snack.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ground beef

  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning

  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1/2 cup fire-roasted salsa (or chunky salsa of choice)

  • 1/2 cup canned black beans, drained (optional)

  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional garnish)

  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.

  • Stir in taco seasoning and 1 tbsp water; simmer for 2–3 minutes to blend flavors.

  • In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and salsa. Stir until smooth.

  • Add in warm taco meat and black beans (if using). Mix until well combined.

  • Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.

  • Garnish with green onions and serve hot with tortilla chips.

Notes

  • Spice it up with jalapeños or hot sauce.

  • Can be made ahead and reheated before serving.
