Description

Delight your taste buds with this indulgent layered dessert, combining fudge brownies, peanut butter, vanilla pudding, and Reese’s cups. A perfect treat for chocolate and peanut butter lovers!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package fudge brownie mix
  • 2 packages miniature Reese’s cups
  • 4 cups cold 2% milk
  • 2 packages instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) thawed Cool Whip

Instructions

  • Prepare the brownies:
    • Follow the package instructions for the brownie mix and bake in a buttered 12×9-inch pan at 350°F for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool completely and slice into 3/4-inch thick pieces.
  • Prepare the peanut butter cups:
    • Halve the miniature Reese’s cups and set aside.
  • Make the pudding mixture:
    • In a large mixing bowl, whisk the instant pudding mix with cold milk for 2 minutes until thick. Add vanilla extract and peanut butter, mixing until smooth. Fold in 1 1/2 cups of Cool Whip gently.
  • Assemble the dessert:
    • In a 5-quart glass dish, layer:
      • One-third of the brownie slices.
      • Half of the halved peanut butter cups.
      • One-third of the pudding mixture.
    • Repeat the layers, finishing with the remaining Cool Whip and topping with the rest of the peanut butter cups for garnish.
  • Chill and serve:
    • Refrigerate the dessert for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For added texture, sprinkle crushed peanuts or drizzle chocolate syrup between the layers.
  • Use a clear glass dish for a visually stunning presentation of the layers.
  • This dessert can be made a day ahead and stored in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
