  • 1 cup whole wheat flour (or all-purpose flour)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or cashew)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened Greek yogurt (or applesauce for dairy-free)
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil or olive oil

Mix-ins:

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Prepare Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, mash bananas, then mix in honey, nut butter, eggs, vanilla, Greek yogurt, and melted oil until smooth.
