Description

This Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Crispy Gnocchi is the ultimate one-pan meal, featuring tender, juicy steak bites paired with crispy golden gnocchi tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce. A perfect quick and satisfying dinner, ready in just 25 minutes!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 lb potato gnocchi (fresh or store-bought)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Crisp the Gnocchi: Heat 1 tablespoon butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add gnocchi and cook until golden and crispy (about 5 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  • Sear the Steak: In the same skillet, add steak bites, salt, pepper, and paprika. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
  • Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: Reduce heat, add garlic, remaining butter, and red pepper flakes. Stir until fragrant.
  • Combine & Finish: Return crispy gnocchi to the pan, toss everything together, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Serve: Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley, then serve hot.

Notes

  • Swap sirloin for ribeye or filet mignon for an extra tender texture.
  • Use cauliflower gnocchi for a lower-carb option.
  • Add a splash of cream or white wine for extra depth of flavor.
