Description

A warm, gooey wheel of baked Brie infused with roasted garlic, fresh herbs, and a drizzle of olive oil. This elegant and easy appetizer is perfect for entertaining, served with crusty bread or crackers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 whole wheel of Brie cheese (8 oz)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 baguette (sliced and toasted) or crackers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Score the Brie:

    • Using a sharp knife, score the top of the Brie in a crisscross pattern, making shallow cuts.
  3. Prepare the Herb Mixture:

    • In a small bowl, mix minced garlic, parsley, thyme, black pepper, and olive oil.
    • Spread the herb mixture evenly over the top of the Brie.
  4. Bake:

    • Place the Brie in a small baking dish or on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
    • Bake for 15 minutes, until the cheese is soft and gooey.
  5. Serve:

    • Serve immediately with toasted baguette slices or crackers.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, drizzle with honey or balsamic glaze after baking.
  • Add chopped nuts (like walnuts or pecans) for a crunchy topping.
  • Brie can be baked in its wooden box (if oven-safe) for an easy serving dish.
