Description

Crispy, golden, and packed with savory flavor—these everything bagel beer dogs are the ultimate party appetizer! Perfect for game days, BBQs, or holiday gatherings, they’re easy to make and impossible to resist.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough
  • 12 mini hot dogs (cocktail sausages)
  • 1/2 cup beer (lager or ale for best flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning

 

  • 1/4 cup cream cheese (softened, optional for dipping)

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven – Set oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Prepare Dough – Unroll the crescent or pizza dough and cut into 12 strips.
3️⃣ Wrap the Hot Dogs – Lightly brush each mini hot dog with Dijon mustard. Wrap each one in a strip of dough, pinching the ends to seal.
4️⃣ Beer Soak (Optional) – Dip wrapped hot dogs in beer for a few seconds to enhance flavor.
5️⃣ Egg Wash & Seasoning – Brush each wrapped hot dog with beaten egg, then sprinkle generously with everything bagel seasoning.
6️⃣ Bake – Place on the baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
7️⃣ Serve & Enjoy – Let cool slightly and serve with cream cheese or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Use crescent dough for a flakier texture or pizza dough for a chewier bite.
  • The beer soak adds depth to the flavor, but you can skip it if preferred.
