Description

Juicy, cheesy, and packed with flavor—these oven-baked burgers are the ultimate no-fuss comfort food! Skip the grill and enjoy a hassle-free, delicious burger with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven – Set oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it.
2️⃣ Prepare the Patties – In a large bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Shape into 4 equal patties, pressing a slight indentation in the center.
3️⃣ Bake the Burgers – Place patties on the baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
4️⃣ Melt the Cheese – In the last 2 minutes of baking, top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and let it melt.
5️⃣ Toast the Buns – Brush hamburger buns with melted butter and place them in the oven for 2-3 minutes until golden.
6️⃣ Assemble & Serve – Place patties on toasted buns and add your favorite toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, pickles, or sauce. Serve immediately!

Notes

  • Use 80/20 ground beef for the juiciest burgers.
  • Experiment with different cheeses like Swiss, pepper jack, or mozzarella for variety.
  • For an extra crispy crust, broil the burgers for the last 1-2 minutes.
  • Add caramelized onions or crispy bacon for even more flavor!
