Description

A rich, velvety chocolate fondant made with wholesome ingredients—no refined sugar or butter! This guilt-free dessert is smooth, creamy, and melts in your mouth, making it the perfect indulgence without the guilt.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate (70% or higher), melted
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (or flax egg for vegan option)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease small ramekins or silicone molds.
  • Melt Chocolate: Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  • Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond flour, yogurt, vanilla extract, egg (or flax egg), and salt. Stir in the melted chocolate until fully combined.
  • Fill Molds: Divide the batter evenly between the prepared ramekins.
  • Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set but the center remains slightly soft for a gooey texture.

 

  • Cool & Serve: Let cool for a few minutes before gently unmolding onto a plate. Serve warm for the best molten chocolate experience.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, use coconut yogurt and a flax egg (1 tablespoon ground flaxseed + 3 tablespoons water, let sit for 5 minutes).
  • Adjust baking time for extra gooey texture—bake 8-9 minutes if you prefer a molten center.
  • Serve with fresh berries, a dusting of cocoa powder, or a dollop of yogurt for extra flavor!
