Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate (70% or higher), melted
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg (or flax egg for vegan option)
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease small ramekins or silicone molds.
- Melt Chocolate: Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
- Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond flour, yogurt, vanilla extract, egg (or flax egg), and salt. Stir in the melted chocolate until fully combined.
- Fill Molds: Divide the batter evenly between the prepared ramekins.
- Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set but the center remains slightly soft for a gooey texture.
- Cool & Serve: Let cool for a few minutes before gently unmolding onto a plate. Serve warm for the best molten chocolate experience.
Notes
- For a vegan version, use coconut yogurt and a flax egg (1 tablespoon ground flaxseed + 3 tablespoons water, let sit for 5 minutes).
- Adjust baking time for extra gooey texture—bake 8-9 minutes if you prefer a molten center.
- Serve with fresh berries, a dusting of cocoa powder, or a dollop of yogurt for extra flavor!
