Description

This Dragon Fruit Tiramisu is a tropical twist on the classic Italian dessert, blending the sweet, exotic flavor of dragon fruit with creamy mascarpone layers. A perfect no-bake dessert for summer gatherings or to impress your guests with something unique and colorful.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dragon fruit puree (pitaya, preferably pink-fleshed)

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 pack ladyfinger biscuits (savoiardi)

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk (or any milk of choice)

  • Fresh dragon fruit slices or cubes, for garnish

  • Mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whip the heavy cream with half the sugar (1/4 cup) until stiff peaks form.

  2. In another bowl, combine mascarpone, vanilla extract, and the remaining sugar. Mix until smooth.

  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.

  4. In a shallow dish, mix dragon fruit puree with lemon juice. In another shallow bowl, pour in the coconut milk.

  5. Dip each ladyfinger briefly in coconut milk, then layer in a serving dish.

  6. Spread a layer of mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.

  7. Spoon a thin layer of dragon fruit puree on top.

  8. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of mascarpone.

  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.

  10. Before serving, garnish with fresh dragon fruit cubes and mint leaves.
