  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Instructions

  • Prepare the Filling:

    • In a large bowl, mix shredded pork, chopped ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, mayonnaise, mustard, banana peppers, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
  • Toast the Rolls:

    • Slice the rolls open and lightly toast them in a dry skillet or oven until golden.
  • Assemble the Sandwiches:

    • Pile the chopped meat mixture onto the toasted rolls.
  • Press and Toast:

    • Brush the tops of the sandwiches with melted butter.
    • Press the sandwiches in a hot skillet or panini press until the cheese melts and the bread is crispy.

  • Serve & Enjoy:

    • Serve hot with potato chips or a side of pickles.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, add crispy fried onions to the filling.
  • Substitute Swiss cheese with provolone for a slightly different flavor.

  • If you don’t have a panini press, use a heavy skillet to press the sandwich while grilling.
