- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
- 10 small flour tortillas
- Cooking spray
For Dipping:
- Queso dip, guacamole, or sour cream
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
- Set oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cook the Beef Mixture:
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add onions and garlic, sauté for 2 minutes until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix in salsa and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Assemble the Flautas:
- Place 2 tbsp of beef mixture onto each tortilla.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top, then roll tightly.
- Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Bake:
- Lightly spray flautas with cooking spray for crispiness.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with queso dip, guacamole, or sour cream.
