- 1 cup canned coconut milk (for creaminess)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup cashews (soaked for 2 hours, for extra creaminess)
- 2 tablespoons bourbon or rum (optional)
Instructions
- Blend everything: Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and frothy.
- Heat gently: Pour into a saucepan and warm over low heat, stirring occasionally (don’t boil).
- Chill or serve warm: Refrigerate for a thicker consistency or serve warm immediately.
- Garnish: Top with whipped coconut cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a cinnamon stick for an extra festive touch!

- For extra richness, replace almond milk with cashew or oat milk.
- For a nut-free version, use coconut and soy milk instead.
